Purpose of this Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice applies to Britbet Racing LLP, operating as Britbet (“we/us/our”), whose registered company number is OC41330 and registered office is 4th Floor Alaska House, Atlantic Park, Dunning Bridge Road, Liverpool L30 4AB, United Kingdom.

The Privacy Notice (together with our Website Terms of use and any other documents referred to in it) set out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to use, will be processed by us.
We update this Privacy Notice as and when our processes change. You can see the date this notice was last updated at the bottom of the page.

If you use our over the counter terminals, this Privacy Notice will apply. The types of information we can collect is listed below and may include your name and address, documentation ID numbers, date of birth, phone number and bank details,

• Betting and Gaming Transactions
• Correspondence to and from Britbet
• AML, fraud and criminal activity

How we use your information

This section will outline how we use your personal data and our legal basis.

When you give us information about any health issue related to yourself or any third party, we will process this information with your consent, when it is in your vital interest to do so or on the grounds of substantial public interest.
Much of the information we collect about you is required to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, such as the Gambling Act 2005 and Money Laundering Regulations, however, where we ask for your consent to process your personal data, you are not required to provide it, however, if you do not do so, you may not be able to take advantage of our services.

Sharing your personal data

We will only share your personal data with third parties who agree to process data in accordance with our instructions and have in place adequate security measures to ensure the data is safe and secure. Organisations we will share information with include:
• Risk and fraud agencies
• Customer service agencies
• Law enforcement agencies, sport’s governing bodies and Regulators
• Companies within the Britbet Racing LLP Partnership

We may disclose anonymised data (such as aggregated statistics) about the users of our services in order to describe our sales, customers, traffic patterns and other information to prospective partners, advertisers, investors and other reputable third parties and for other lawful purposes. This will not contain any personal data.

Your rights

You have the rights to:
• Information about how we use your personal data.
• Access to copies of your personal data held by us.
• Request we erase your personal data: where it is no longer necessary for us to process it; where you have withdrawn your consent; where you have objected; where your personal data has been unlawfully processed; or where erasing your personal data is required in accordance with a legal obligation.
• Object to us processing your personal data where such data is processed for our legitimate interests.
• Rectify any inaccurate personal data we process.
• Request we restrict our processing of your data.
• Request we share your information with another organisation (data portability).
• Request an explanation of the logic involved where we make decisions about you solely through automated means.
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection regulator
• Withdraw your consent (but only where we have specifically requested your consent to process your personal data and have no other lawful conditions – see the table above. This can be done by contacting compliance@britbet.com

Retaining your personal data

We will only continue to hold personal data relating to your account as permitted under data protection legislation.

Customer data is retained for a 7-year retention period which starts to run from last known visit to one of our racecourses.

If you register under our Self Exclusion scheme, whilst the self-exclusion itself may have a shorter duration, a record of this will be retained longer as part of your customer profile.
