Terms
On behalf of the Promoter (as defined below), we are making available for one lucky winner two free tickets to the 2027 Pegasus World Cup taking place on 23 January 2027 at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida ("Pegasus 2027") along with a travel and accommodation voucher for Pegasus 2027 as part of a prize promotion (the "Promotion"). These terms and conditions (these “Terms”) set out the eligibility criteria for entering the Promotion, how to enter, the Prize (as defined below) and how the Prize will be awarded. Any entry into the Promotion will be governed by these Terms and any participant will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms. Please retain a copy for your information.
The promoter for the Promotion (referred to in these Terms as "we" or the "Promoter") is 1/ST Global Wagering Solutions LLC, a company registered in the United States of America with company number 98-0541421 and whose registered office is at 1209 Orange Street, Wilmington, Delaware, USA. By entering into this Promotion, you agree with the Promoter to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility
1. The Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom only, excluding employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and its group companies.
2. Entrants must be 18 years of age or over, must have a valid UK passport and be eligible to travel to the United States of America.
3. There is a maximum of one entry per eligible customer during the Promotional Period (as defined below).
4. No entries from agents, third parties, organised groups, syndicates or aliases will be accepted. No incomplete, corrupted entries or multiple entries from the same person beyond the total limit will be accepted. The entry must be made directly by the person entering the Promotion. Only genuine valid entries will be considered.
How to enter
5. The Promotion starts on and from 1 July 2026 to 31 July 2026 (inclusive) the (“Promotional Period”).
6. For the chance to enter and win, you must either:
i. be a betting customer in a retail betting site of William Hill, Betfred or Britbet (the "Betting Sites") during the Promotional Period. The races for which betting makes you eligible for entry will be made clear in the relevant Betting Site; or
ii. submit your free entry via an online form available on the homepage for each racecourse in the Mobile App that we provide to racegoers (known as 'raceday ready').
7. All eligible participating customers from all participating bookmakers will be pooled together into one eligible group of participating customers. Only one winner we be selected out of the total number of pooled eligible participating customers.
Prizes
8. The following prize will be awarded to the winner of the Promotion (the "Prize"):
a. two (2) tickets to Pegasus 2027; and
b. a voucher worth £10,000 (inclusive of VAT) that can be redeemed for air and ground travel and accommodation in relation to Pegasus 2027.
9. There will be a total of one (1) winner of the Promotion.
Winner selection and notification
10. The draw for the winner of the Promotion will take place at random via an independently audited prize draw. We will notify the operator of the Betting Site of the winning entry and the operator will then notify the winner accordingly.
11. It is the responsibility of the winner to supply the correct personal information to claim their prize. The Promoter will not be held liable for non-delivery of a prize due to the provision of inaccurate information.
12. The winner only will be sent a confirmation email (the email address submitted upon entry) to confirm their win (subject to verification) by no later than 14 days after the closing of the Promotion.
13. The winner must respond to the notification email within seven working days to claim the Prize.
14. Once the winner has replied to their notification email and claimed the Prize, the Prize will be sent to the winner within seven working days.
15. It is the responsibility of entrants to check junk/spam folders to ensure they are in receipt of any communications.
16. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner and to receive information to allow fulfilment of the Prize and to arrange the Prize dispatch. Inaccurate information may result in the Prize being forfeited. If the winner has not responded to first notification after seven days or if a selected winner is ineligible, rejects the Prize, is otherwise in breach of these Terms, or unable to take up the Prize for any other reason, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and to forfeit this original win to them and to reallocate the Prize to another entrant of the Promotion. If the Prize is unclaimed it will be assumed unwanted and the Promoter reserves the right to reallocate using the same process referred to in these Terms. The winner should retain their notification email message until their win has been verified. The reserve winner contacting process will continue until up to one reserve has been contacted for the outstanding Prize. If the Prize has not been claimed after this process has been executed it will be withdrawn from the Promotion. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their email account during this time in case they are a winner.
17. The Prize is non-divisible. If the winner does not want to use a particular part of the Prize, that unwanted part will not be re-allocated to any other entrant.
18. The Prize is strictly non-transferable and will be issued to the winning entrant only. Any person found in breach of this term will be disqualified from participating. No other alternative prize will be available in whole or in part, except in the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, whereby the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with prizes of equal or greater value.
19. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for failed delivery of the Prize due to provision of incorrect contact details. If the Prize is returned undelivered it will be assumed unwanted and the Promoter reserves the right to re-allocate, if time permits, using the same process referred to above in these Terms.
Liability
20. If the Promoter fails to comply with these Terms, the Promoter is responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of the Promoter's breach of these Terms or its negligence, but it is not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of the Promoter's breach or if it was contemplated by you and the Promoter at the time that you entered into this Promotion.
21. You acknowledge that the voucher for travel and accommodation provided as part of the Prize will be redeemed for services provided by third parties. The provision of such services is entirely outside of the Promoter's control and the Promoter shall have no liability to you in relation to the provision (or failure to provide) such services by such third parties.
General Information
22. You will need access to the internet in order to be able to check whether you have won the Prize or not.
23. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries, and to refuse to award the Prize, withdraw the Prize entitlement and/or disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms or any instructions forming part of this Promotion's entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion or won using fraudulent means.
24. The winners’ surname and county will be available by emailing your request to marketing@britbet.com and using the subject line ‘Pegasus 2027 Promotion’ within three months of the Promotion closing. Should the winner object to their information being made available, they should contact the Promoter by emailing marketing@britbet.com. The Promoter may nevertheless disclose the information to the relevant Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
25. The winner may be required, if they consent, to take part in reasonable publicity relating to this Promotion without further remuneration.
26. The Promoter's decision is final in all matters pertaining to the Promotion.
27. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this Promotion or the awarding of the Prize, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion or these Terms, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
28. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the entry process or operation of the Promotion or to be acting in any manner disruptive to the Promotion.
29. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
30. These Terms (and any non-contractual disputes or claims which arise out of or in connection with them) will be governed by the English courts which shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any and all disputes arising out of, relating to or concerning, these Terms.
