Winning tickets should be claimed on the day or at a future meeting from any window at one of our racecourses.

Alternatively If you wish to claim winnings via post, please send the original ticket along with your full contact and payment details to:

All payments will be made via BACS transfer. Please allow 7-10 working days for this transfer to be completed.

You have 53 weeks from the date of the race to collect any winnings.

It typically takes between 3-7 working days for winnings to be returned to your card from one of our positions.

If you have left the course and are unsure if you have a winning bet, you can scan the QR code on your ticket and it will show you if your ticket has won.

At racecourses with britbet pools, if a pool is not fully won to £1 then any surplus will rollover to a future pool.

For Pick 4 and Pick 6 this will typically be to the next meeting at the same racecourse. So if a Lingfield Pick 6 rolls over then it will roll to the next Lingfield meeting. Trifecta and Superfecta will roll race-to-race at the same meeting.

Yes - if a high-street betting shop offers Tote pools then you will also be able to place bets via this mechanism into the core britbet pools (Win, Place, Exacta, Trifecta).

Yes, these bets are available at britbet positions.

‘SP Guarantee/ Tote Guarantee’ is a price promise on horse racing bets placed on all 58 britbet racecourses (whether the bet is placed into a britbet or Tote pool) - where your Win bet is settled at the higher of the Win pool dividend or the Starting Price (SP).

Britbet does not place seeding bets into the britbet horse racing pools. However britbet has entered into an arrangement with a third party to provide a seeding service for the pools.

The aim of this is to create initial base liquidity which helps to provide indicative guide prices to improve the customer experience and endeavours to provide greater pool stability. All such bets are placed in accordance with the britbet pool betting rules and will only use information that is available to other customers.

The seeding applies to single leg pools only including Win, Place, Swinger, Exacta and Trifecta. There is no seeding on multi-leg pools such as the Pick 4 or Pick 6, which are supported separately by guarantees.

The seeding takes place in several tranches, typically starting a few hours before the first race.

The amount of seeding varies by track/pool but is typically expected to be £300-£600 per pool.

The seeding bets placed into the horse racing pools is expected to make a net loss overall, but is a service that we believe will improve the customer offering.

The aim of this is to create initial base liquidity which helps to provide indicative guide prices to improve the customer experience and endeavours to provide greater pool stability. All such bets are placed in accordance with the britbet pool betting rules and will only use information that is available to other customers.

On greyhounds, the seeding applies to single leg pools only including Win, Place, Exacta and Trifecta. There is no seeding on multi-leg pools such as the Pick 4 or Pick 6.

The seeding takes place typically 30-60 minutes before race 1 and then c15-20 minutes before each race thereafter. Once the seed bets are placed on each race at these times, no further seed bets are placed on that race.

The amount of seeding varies by track/pool but is typically £100-£300 per pool.

The seeding bets placed into the greyhound pools make a net loss overall, but the racetracks choose to do this to improve the customer offering.
