‘SP Guarantee’ is a price promise on horse racing bets placed with Britbet on-course - where your Win bet is settled at the higher of the britbet Win pool dividend or the Starting Price (SP).

Britbet offers the ‘SP Guarantee’ promotion for racing taking place at selected UK racecourses including: Bath; Brighton; Chepstow; Doncaster; Fontwell; Ffos Las; Great Yarmouth; Hereford; Hexham; Lingfield; Newcastle; Newton Abbot; Ripon; Sedgefield; Southwell; Uttoxeter; Windsor; Wolverhampton and Worcester - (the “SPG Racecourses”).

The following specific terms and conditions govern the SP Guarantee for bets placed with britbet on britbet racecourses in relation to racing taking place at the SPG Racecourses. See www.britbet.com for a list of britbet racecourses.

Britbet also offers the ‘Tote Guarantee’ for win bets placed via britbet at britbet racecourses where bets go into Tote pools (home and away on UK and Irish racing). The Tote Guarantee is essentially the same offer as the SP Guarantee, but relates to the Tote Win dividend instead of the britbet Win dividend. The same rules listed below for the SP Guarantee apply to the Tote Guarantee for bets placed on britbet racecourses. Tote Guarantee may be used to promote ‘SP Guarantee’ on selected britbet racecourses.

1. SP Guarantee applies to britbet Win bets and the win part of any britbet Each Way bet.

Example: Horse no.3 wins at 11/2 (6.50 in decimal odds). Britbet Win dividend = 5.80. Customer A has £10 win on no.3 and is paid £65.00 (£10 at 6.50), an enhanced payout of £7 more than they would have received if they were just paid out at the Win pool odds (£58).

Where the SP return to a unit stake is to more than two decimal places, we will round up to the nearest penny. i.e. SP = 10/3, the SP Guarantee dividend will be 4.34.

2. If the SP is subject to a Rule 4 deduction, the SP Guarantee dividend will reflect that Rule 4 deduction. For example, a horse wins at 5/1 with a 20p Rule 4 to all bets. This is adjusted to 4/1 (or 5.00 in decimal odds). If the standard britbet Win dividend would have been 4.70 after all non-runners removed then the SP Guarantee will boost the dividend to 5.00.

3. In the event of a dead heat for first place, the SP Guarantee will apply to both/all winning selections. For each dead heat runner, we will pay the greater of the britbet Win dividend and the applicable SP return following the calculation pertaining to the dead heat.

4. The SP Guarantee is available for bets placed at britbet racecourses on all racing taking place at the SPG Racecourses (home and away). It may not be available for bets placed at other racecourses or through other offcourse partners or hubs. SP Guarantee may be used to promote ‘Tote Guarantee’ on selected britbet racecourses.

5. Unless expressly stated in official marketing materials at the racecourse or agreed by a manager, the maximum eligible stake per selection per person (or syndicate of people) for the SP Guarantee is £500.

6. We reserve the right to pay customers at the standard britbet Win dividend (regardless whether the SP is higher) if there is suspicion of (a) manipulation or price rigging of the SP or the Win pool; or (b) multiple customers betting in concert (creating the effect of a single syndicate) in an attempt to avoid the maximum eligible stake restriction above.

7. These terms and conditions are additional to and operate in conjunction with the britbet Pool Betting Rules.

8. You must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age. Underage gambling is a criminal offence and is not tolerated by us. We reserve the right to request age verification documentation from any customer at any time and to render void any bets with persons under the age of 18.

9. Britbet reserves the right to amend or update these terms and conditions or withdraw this promotion at any time at our reasonable discretion on prior notice to you wherever possible. However we reserve the right to amend or withdraw the promotion without notice, temporarily or permanently if we deem it is necessary to do so (acting reasonably).

Terms And Conditions

1. This promotion is offered by Britbet Racing LLP (“Britbet”). Britbet provides the on-course pool betting service at the vast majority of British racecourses.
2. Place a cash or debit card Win bet on-course at a Tote position on a valid race and get your Win stake back as a free bet voucher up to £10 if your selection finishes second. This promotion only applies to Win bets and the Win part of Each Way single bets. Multiples do not apply.
3. Races are only valid for this promotion where stated clearly on racecourse marketing material, such as betting screen displays.
4. By placing a valid bet, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. Free bet vouchers to be given out on presentation of a valid betting ticket to a member of staff on-course. Only one free bet voucher to be given out per customer per race. Free bet vouchers must be claimed on the day of the event.
6. The free bet is valid for use for 12 months on any britbet racecourses – see https://britbet.com/location-type/racecourses/ for more information.
7. Free bet vouchers have no cash value and are non-exchangeable.
8. This promotion is available to customers who are 18 years old or older.
9. We reserve the right to withhold the benefit of the promotion if we believe a customer is abusing the offer or acting in breach of the Terms and Conditions.
10. In the event of a dead heat for 2nd place the free bet voucher amount will be divided by the number of horses that have dead heated. For example, for a £10 Win bet on a horse that finishes in a dead heat for 2nd, the customer will be entitled to receive a free bet voucher for £5.
11. Online bets on digital platforms (e.g. tote.co.uk) do not apply for this promotion. However Tote may run similar promotions on their digital channels so please check the Tote promotions pages for more information.
12. We reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions or withdraw this promotion at any time at our reasonable discretion on prior notice to you wherever possible. However, the promotion may be amended or withdrawn without notice, temporarily or permanently, if we deem it necessary to do so (acting reasonably).
